At Village Academy San Diego, our Core Language Arts & Math approach seamlessly fuses mastery-based education with the creativity of Montessori and Reggio-inspired methods. Embark on a vibrant journey of discovery with our Enrichment Program. Here, students immerse themselves in the captivating tales of the Sassafras Science Adventure® and the rich narratives of the Story of the World® audiobooks. While our older learners dive deep into history discussions, they also hone their linguistic prowess with Duolingo® and sharpen their typing skills. Beyond these, our curriculum is punctuated with diverse unit studies, exploring realms like Earth Studies, Community Service, Marine Ecology, Ancient Rome, and more. Central to our program is the emphasis on open discussions and hands-on projects, ensuring learning is not just absorbed but lived.

Adventure Fridays provide an opportunity to explore various parts of San Diego or play at the Studio. This is a day for us to strengthen our community and connect with families within our Village.

Examples of past Adventure Fridays:

San Diego Maritime Museum, Harbor Cruise, Pool Party, Local Parks with ample opportunities for climbing, Trampoline Park, Messy Science Experiments @ the Studio, Coronado Beach Clean-Up, Private Muay Thai and Jiu Jitsu lessons, Community-Building Day @ the Studio, Studio Improvement Projects, Craft Projects, SeaWorld, USS Midway, San Diego Fleet Week Student STEM Day, and MORE!

Add-On Prices:

1-Day Adventure Friday Drop-Off Program: $20+/day

1-Day Adventure Friday (Parent/Guardian required): $0-25/day

ADD-ON only. Students are welcome to eat breakfast, read, play a game, hang out with friends, or play on the playground.

Before-Care 8-9am: $8/day

After-Care 3-4pm: $8/day

Sibling discount: 10% applied to subsequent student(s)

All-inclusive discounts available.

A non-refundable, one-time enrollment fee is required to join our Village. Enrollment fees vary between $250-$500 depending membership participation.

An annual supply fee is applicable for all subsequent years and varies by membership participation.

Village Academy San Diego is an approved vendor with Suncoast Preparatory Academy, Pacific Coast Academy and SoCal Scholars Academy. Please contact us for more information or to request another charter school.

Once capacity has been reached for a classroom, students will be placed on a waitlist in the order in which they are received. Priority is given to siblings of currently enrolled students.

Boost math confidence and mastery with our private tutoring sessions, available for grades K-8. Whether at our welcoming studio or in the comfort of your home, we adapt to individual learning styles and needs.

Private tutoring does not require a 10-month commitment and can be scheduled regularly or intermittently.
